A Special Thank You

This Thanksgiving, as in Thanksgivings passed, we take the moment to pause and reflect on all that we're thankful for. This year especially, I hold the most gratitude for the solid foundation on which we've accomplished so much at Lick Honest Ice Creams!

We continue to operate and build this little ice cream company on the same core values and mission that we opened the business with over eight years ago and, for that, Chad and I are so thankful. Running an honest company with integrity is what it's all about for us at Lick. To have been able to grow a thriving business in this way while connecting and empowering our local farmers, food artisans, and community for nearly a decade is a reason to feel grateful if there ever was one!

This year strengthened our belief that it's not about simply churning out as much ice cream as we can, y'all. That's been done. The ideal that we strive for is bigger and, more importantly, better! We aim to continue churning out the cleanest, most honest ice creams we can for every single one of you, our customers because we think that you, like us, want a better and more honest ice cream to enjoy with those you love most. Chad and I are full of thanks for YOU for in believing in us! Because of you, we've been able to build an incredible, dedicated team that has grown Lick Honest Ice Creams, alongside our farmers and artisan partners, in the most organic and honest way. Without compromises. It's a whole circle of life thing y'all (ice cream company style)!

Now, don't get me wrong -- there have been challenges. But with each day that passes, I'm seeing those challenges in a very different light. Making ice creams without any pre-made anything and distributing all of our products ourselves presents quite a few hurdles but also opportunities to improve with every obstacle we overcome. So this year more than any other, I'm also sincerely thankful for the curveballs we've been thrown!

Lick Honest Ice Creams has become so much more than what Chad and I thought it could be and it's well on its way to becoming all we hoped it would be! For that, we thank you humbly.
