In 2011, co-founders Anthony Sobotik and Chad Palmatier moved to Austin, Texas with a simple belief: everyone deserves great tasting ice cream made with honest ingredients, sourced with integrity from family farms and food artisans.

OUR CREAMERY

HOW HONEST ICE CREAM BEGINS

Good ice cream starts before the flavors. It starts with the dairy. We partner with a fourth-generation family-owned creamery that has been doing things the right way for over 110 years. They run a closed-loop system — milk and cream sourced directly from their own farm, crafted into custom bases with no artificial stabilizers, colors, or preservatives. Fresh, traceable, consistent. That's the foundation everything else is built on.

QUALITY YOU CAN TASTE

The dairy is the foundation. What goes into it is everything else.

We work with farms and makers across Texas — fresh mint and earthy beets from East Austin, fragrant lavender and luscious peaches from the Hill Country, pecans, citrus, honey, and herbs from growers who have been at this for a long time and doing it right. Local chocolatiers, beekeepers, coffee roasters, and more bring the same care to their craft that we bring to ours.

If it's not in season, it's not in our ice cream.
